Alan speaks with Helen Epstein about her New Yorker Magazine article about Melita Maschmann, a former Nazi who wrote a memoir. Epstein is also the author of six books including the multi-generational memoir Where she came from: A Daughter’s Search for her Mother’s History; the first book on inter-generational trauma Children of the Holocaust: and the biography Joe Papp: An American Life. She also reviews theater and music in the Berkshires for the online arts magazine The Arts Fuse.
