WAMC's Dr. Alan Chartock discusses U.S. Attorney General William Barr, who broke with President Trump Tuesday by saying the Justice Department has found no evidence of large-scale voter fraud in the 2020 election.  Dr. Chartock also comments on reports that over 270,000 Americans have died of COVID-19. Also in the headlines: President Trump is reportedly considering pardons for three of his children, Jared Kushner, and Rudy Giuliani.

Dr. Alan Chartock is professor emeritus at the University at Albany. He hosts the weekly Capitol Connection series, heard on public radio stations around New York. The program, for almost 12 years, highlighted interviews with Governor Mario Cuomo and now continues with conversations with state political leaders.
