WAMC's Dr. Alan Chartock discusses President Trump's return to the White House Monday night, after testing positive for COVID-19 last week. In a video online, Trump assured Americans of his own health and continued to downplay the pandemic, adding, "Don't be afraid of it. You're going to beat it."

Dr. Chartock also previews Wednesday's vice presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and U.S. Senator Kamala Harris. Also in the headlines: Senate Republicans appear dead-set on confirming President Trump's pick for the Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett, despite a COVID-19 outbreak in the chamber.
