WAMC's Dr. Alan Chartock discusses Brexit and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who faces a string of defeats as Parliament begins its five-week suspension.

He also comments on President Trump's latest rally in North Carolina, and reports that the C.I.A. extracted a longtime informant from Russia in 2017. Also in the headlines: the Washington Post says most new working-age hires in the U.S. today are people of color.
