Israeli founding father Shimon Peres has died at 93. For more on his legacy, WAMC News spoke today with Shimon Mercer-Wood, a spokesman for the Consulate-General of Israel in New York City, who spoke about the situation in 1995 when Peres became prime minister after the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin.
