The University at Albany School of Public Health has initiated an “All School Read” program, which invites students, faculty, staff and community members to select and read an important book covering issues relevant for those preparing for careers in public health. The first book chosen for the program is Robert D Putnam’s Our Kids: The American Dream in Crisis, which examines the growing inequality gap in the United States.
The UAlbany School of Public Health will host Dr. Putnam , leading a forum on the subject late this afternoon. Robert Putnam spoke with WAMC's Ray Graf about the book and the forum.
