Vermont State Senator Plans Gay Marriage Bill, Governor States Strong Opposition

Montpelier, VT – A Vermont state Senator plans to introduce a gay marriage bill when the legislature convenes in January. But the bill is not likely to become law. On Thursday, Governor Jim Douglas said he would oppose a same-sex marriage bill. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
