Conjoined Surgery Ethics Considered

Albany, NY – An international team of surgeons in Singapore tried but failed to separate conjoined twins from Iran. The 29-year old sisters from Iran, who were joined at the head, died from massive bleeding. The procedure has started a debate within the medical community. WAMC's Brian Shields spoke to a medical ethicist from our region about the case.
