The front runner for New York lieutenant governor in the November election, incumbent Kathy Hochul, says if she’s reelected, she has plenty of plans, including presiding over some key measures in the New York state Senate like strengthening a woman’s right to choose abortion.

The Democrat sat down with Capitol Correspondent Karen DeWitt to talk about that effort and her recent campaign travels as the running mate of Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Hochul is facing Republican Julie Killian, the Green Party’s Jia Lee, Libertarian Andrew Hollister and independent Michael Volpe in November.
