Lock Out At Amsterdam Schools After Threat

The Greater Amsterdam School District initiated a district-wide lock out Friday morning after a student reportedly made threats against Amsterdam High School.

A lock out was declared at 10:30 a.m.

In an online statement, the district said Friday afternoon that all students involved in activities at Amsterdam High School and Lynch Literacy Academy have been accounted for and were dismissed from school.

Law enforcement is investigating.
