At 4 percent, Saratoga County’s unemployment rate is at its lowest level since 2007 and is tied with Warren County for having the lowest in the Capital Region. It’s also lower than the U.S. and state average of 5 percent. That’s according to a new report by the Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership released on Tuesday.

Other indicators of a strong economy are a household median income above $71,000, and climbing home values.

61 percent of business owners and executives surveyed reported higher sales over the past year, 78 percent expected sales to increase in 2017, and 68 percent said their businesses are performing better than at this time last year.
