Rachael Mattice, a Johnstown woman accused of falsely reporting her own abduction, a case that led to a costly two-week manhunt, has been charged with petit larceny for stealing prescription drugs.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office says Mattice allegedly stole drugs from a county health organization where she worked.
In late June Mattice disappeared for two weeks. She claimed she was abducted and held. Police say she made the story up.
