Cobleskill Police apprehended a teenage boy Tuesday night who was found allegedly waving a gun at customers inside a Walmart store.

Police determined the weapon possessed by a 13-year-old boy was a pellet gun.

Nobody was harmed and the boy was taken into custody without incident. The weapon, which resembled a real firearm, was discovered stolen.

Police said the boy appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis and was taken for a mental health evaluation. He was charged with Petit Larceny and sent to the Schoharie County Probation Department. Additional charges are pending.
