A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday for Saratoga Hospital’s Marylou Whitney and Desmond DelGiacco, MD Intensive Care Unit.
The state-of-the-art facility is part of the hospital’s $34 million expansion, which also includes a new surgical center.
On Wednesday officials in Schenectady marked the opening of a 61-room emergency center, the final phase of Ellis Medicine’s restructuring process begun in 2006.
