Officials say more details will be released Thursday morning about an apparent quadruple homicide in an Albany-area community. Police did share any information about potential suspects Wednesday night.

Police cars lined a busy section of Western Avenue in Guilderland Wednesday evening. Officials said four deceased individuals were inside the home. What looked like distraught friends or family were on site talking to police.

Guilderland and state police were on hand and working in conjunction with the FBI, which was on scene to provide translation services for witnesses with an apparent language barrier.

Guilderland police chief Carol Lawlor said anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact authorities.

"We're out in force, you can see the Guilderland Police, the State Police. We're out here, if anyone has information call us. Remain vigilant. It's a horrible crime. It's horrible and it certainly isn't common at all for the Town of Guilderland."

Police will release more information at a press conference scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday.
