Problems across the listening area are being mirrored here in Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties, with heavy rain and strong wind causing numerous road closures and power outages.

A state of emergency has been declared in Saratoga Springs and National Grid is reporting more than 37,000 customers without electricity throughout the three counties.

Emergency officials are warning people to stay off the area roadways made easier by the fact that major events like racing at the Saratoga Race Course and the Washington County Fair were both cancelled.
