Groups Request Special Protections For Beleaguered Bats

Richmond, VT – A group of scientists and environmental groups have asked the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to put special protections on the once-common little brown bat because it is being threatened with extinction by white-nose syndrome. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
