Governor Leaves a Proposed Cap on State Property Tax Payments in Adirondacks and Catskills in Executive Budget, Advocates Upset

Plattsburgh, NY – Governor Paterson submitted his 30-day amendments to the executive budget on Thursday. Among the items NOT included is rescinding a cap on property tax payments on state lands in the Adirondack and Catskill Forest Preserves. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
