7-Eleven Chain Agrees to Take Steps to Curb Sales of Tobacco to Minors

Plattsburgh, NY – Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York are among 30 states that have reached a deal with Seven-Eleven to crack down on tobacco sales to minors. The convenience store chain is the largest seller of tobacco products in the country. Anti-smoking advocates are applauding the voluntary agreement to curb underage smoking.
