Vermont’s Secretary of State has released the results of the election audit held earlier this week, finding no irregularities.

Following the November general election all Vermont ballots were required to be sealed by town or city clerks and retained in vaults.

Seven towns and cities are randomly selected for an audit that uses equipment that is independent of the tabulators used in those communities.

Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos reports that the audit conducted Wednesday found no significant abnormalities or discrepancies.

Results will be posted on the Secretary of State’s website.
