Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos outlined the voting process Monday and told members of the Vermont Chamber that voters are setting turnout records during early voting.
During the Vermont Chamber of Commerce Virtual Policy Series discussion on elections during a pandemic, Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos said planning for the general election began in February.  He said the goal has been to preserve voting rights and health.  “We now have over 204,000 Vermonters who have actually voted safely already by embracing our early voting and voting by mail system.”

Officials will meet after Election Day to determine if any of the COVID-related voting changes should be kept.
