The city of Burlington is celebrating the reopening of a park adjacent to city hall.
City Hall Park was closed for nearly a year to complete a $5.8 million renovation that features new sidewalks and lighting, gardens, a fountain and public restroom.

Burlington City Arts and Burlington Parks and Recreation hosted Mayor Miro Weinberger and others Friday to launch a two-day reopening celebration.  There are plans for concerts and movies, tours of the park’s plantings and design, and art events.

All activities are to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
