One of the longest-running events in the region that honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr takes place in Northampton, Massachusetts on the national holiday for the civil rights leader.
Hosted by the Resistance Center for Peace and Justice the celebration features a large assembly and a series of workshops put on by several community groups.
To preview this year’s event, WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with the center’s Jeff Napolitano.
