The Vermont Statehouse is closed for about three weeks for maintenance work.
The building and its cafeteria are closed starting on Monday and will remain closed until Nov. 15.

The statehouse website simply notes that “The Vermont State House will be closed for maintenance on October 28th through November 15th. Staff and phones will be working remotely.”

WCAX-TV reports that work includes restoring paint and upgrading the electrical system.

Legislative meetings are taking place at other sites.
