Voters in Pittsfield, Massachusetts have until Wednesday night to register to vote before next month’s municipal election.

City clerk Michelle Benjamin says registration must be completed by October 16th by 8 p.m. in order to participate in the November 5th general election, "which will be electing the mayor, city clerk, the four at-large councilors and one councilor from each ward, and six members of the school committee," she told WAMC. "And the polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.”

Pittsfield residents can go to the Registrar of Voters’ office at city hall to register. Benjamin herself is running for re-election unopposed.
