Vermont Drug Task Forces Arrests 59 In Statewide Sweep

The Vermont Drug Task Force says 59 people were arrested during a state-wide drug sweep.
The task force partnered with the Vermont Department of Health to provide information on treatment and recovery services.

The operation was carried out over the last several weeks.

The investigations resulted in 53 individual charges of selling heroin and 43 individual charges of selling crack cocaine among other charges.

All the suspects were charged with state drug offenses. They were cited and released with future court dates.
