Stockbridge Election Shakes Up Town Leadership

A political newcomer has foiled the re-election plans of incumbent Stockbridge, Massachusetts select board chair Donald Chabon. On Tuesday, town residents voted 302 to 214 to replace him with Roxanne McCaffrey, an almost 50-year town resident who with decades of experience in information systems. McCaffrey, who turns 70 this year, told WAMC that she decided that the town’s leadership needed an overhaul.
