The City of Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Pittsfield has appointed its new Police Advisory and Review Board.

The city established its third pass at such a board in the last four years in January, after a long, contentious debate about the form it should take.

City clerk Michelle Benjamin read off the names of the first 10 city residents on the board at Tuesday’s council meeting: “Bruce Stump, Drew Herzig, Reverand Slon T. Letman IV, Reverend Sheila Sholes-Ross, Ivan Victoriano-Fontes, Kyreasia Soloman, Ellen Maxon, Michael Feldberg, Erin Sullivan, Alfred Barbalunga.”

Mayor Linda Tyer said the 11th and final member on the board will be named at the March 12th city council meeting.
