A North Adams, Massachusetts mayoral candidate has missed the filing deadline for campaign finances for the second time.

North Adams City Councilor Bob Moulton Jr. has been fined for submitting his campaign finance report, which was due October 30th, a day late.

Moulton also missed the preliminary filing date September 11 by nearly two weeks.

The filing shows Moulton has raised $947. His opponent, Tom Bernard, has raised more than $19,600.

Moulton told the Berkshire Eagle that he had spent about $2,000 on his campaign from his personal account. He says he is working with the state campaign finance office to correct the reporting discrepancy.

The election is November 7th
