Former MA Gov. Jane Swift To Discuss Trump Presidency At MCLA

Former Massachusetts Governor Jane Swift will return to the Berkshires later this week for a speech on the Trump presidency. 

Swift, a native of North Adams, now makes her home in Vermont as a wife and a mother of three teenage girls. She became governor of Massachusetts at 36, and served from 2001 to 2003. Swift, a Republican, was lieutenant governor and before that was elected to the state senate from western Massachusetts at age 25. She will speak about the Trump presidency this Thursday at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

The event starts at 7 p.m. at the MCLA Church Street Center’s Eleanor Furst Roberts auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
