BSO Appoints New Conductor Of Tanglewood Festival Chorus

There is a new conductor of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. James Burton will also assume the new position of Choral Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. 

Since 2002 he has been the music director of the chamber choir Schola Cantorum of Oxford and has conducted orchestra concerts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the BBC Concert Rrchestra, the Scottish Opera and Manchester Camerata. Burton spoke to WAMC about his new role with the BSO.
