A man sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to burglary in exchange for testifying against others in the shooting death of a 78-year-old Sheffield grandmother has discussed what may have been her final words.
29-year-old Richard Fletcher says in a deposition taken at Southern State Correctional Facility on Jan. 29 that he heard Pat O'Hagan say something like "take what you want and leave" before gunshots rang out in her home in 2010.

The Caledonian Record reports Fletcher, searching for drugs and money in another room, said he returned to the kitchen to find his cousin Michael "Mouse Boy" Norrie standing over O'Hagan's body "with the gun smoking." Norrie also pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to prison.

Lawyers for co-defendant Keith Baird have argued for dismissal of a first-degree murder charge.
