Minor Earthquake Reported In New Hampshire

A minor earthquake was felt Monday morning in New Hampshire.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-2.9 earthquake was measured about 4 miles northwest of the village of Contoocook, New Hampshire.

Residents in Hopkinton, Concord, Canterbury, Bow, Dunbarton and other towns reported feeling a rumble or hearing a loud noise Monday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the quake at 9:18 a.m.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
