Vermont Agency of Transportation Secretary Sue Minter, who has served in the Shumlin administration since 2011, is stepping down to run for governor. The Democrat is the latest to join a crowded field, announcing her candidacy in an email to supporters this morning. Governor Peter Shumlin says Deputy Secretary Chris Cole will lead the agency beginning at the end of the day Friday.
