Joining 35 other states, last week Vermont Attorney General Bill Sorrell appointed Bridget Asay the state’s first Solicitor General. She explained to WAMC’s North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley what a solicitor general does.

Bridget Asay, who has worked in the Vermont Attorney General’s office since 1998, became Vermont’s first Solicitor General on April 1st.
