Albany, NY – In Roland Merullo's new novel "Breakfast with Buddha," a cookbook editor with a loving wife and two happy children nevertheless feels a slight emptiness in his life, especially after his parents are killed in a car accident near their North Dakota farm. When he and his new-age sister arrange a cross country drive to close down the family home, it becomes a bait and switch.
