Albany Medical Center has updated captured prisoner David Sweat's condition as of 11:45 Wednesday morning. This statement is from Medical Director Dennis McKenna.
"As of Wednesday, July 1, David Sweat remains under the care of physicians at Albany Medical Center. He continues to be in fair condition and is expected to remain at Albany Medical Center for at least a few days. Updates on his condition will be provided as appropriate. Security measures continue to be implemented to ensure the safety and security of our patients and their families, our employees, and the public."
