Paul Agris, SUNY Albany RNA Institute - Unlocking Medical Secrets With RNA

A cure for cancer - it could well be the most invigorating , but frustrating goal for medical research, but the work at a lab in Albany may help to end the scourge of cancer one day.

The University at Albany’s RNA Institute will open a new facility on June 11th after a rapid expansion of its work and reach in just a few years. For more on the work at the institute, WAMC's Brian Shields spoke with its founding director professor Paul Agris who begins with an explanation about the difference between RNA and its cousin DNA.
