Springfield, MA – The city of Springfield Massachusetts, which four years ago took an emergency loan from the state to stay financially afloat will, in a matter of days ,start to repay the loan.. The Springfield Finance Control board voted to authorize a 2 point 6 million dollar payment on the 52 million dollar loan. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill reports......
