Washington, DC – The alpine country of Switzerland is keenly aware of environmental stewardship and the impacts of global warming. In order for its glacier-laden Alps to survive, Switzerland's leaders are creating global environmental policies and aggressively urging international partnerships. On today's Community Corner, North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley speaks with Urs Ziswiler, the Swiss Ambassador to the U-S, who will appear at the University of Vermont on Wednesday to discuss global climate change.
