Open Forum: Policing the Police

This week President Obama asked Congress to approve $263 million to buy thousands of body cameras for police departments nationwide. The hope is that they will prevent deaths like that of Michael Brown in Ferguson, and build trust between police departments and the communities they serve.

Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are also looking into creating a task force and issuing new guidelines on racial profiling in law enforcement. But is all that going to prevent another Ferguson? Should police be reigned in? If so how? We want to hear from you.
