Springfield, MA – Massachusetts was awarded seven billion dollars in federal stimulus money. About six billion dollars has been spent since the program started in 2009. The person who is overseeing how the money is spent is Jeffrey Simon, director of the Massachusetts Recovery and Reinvestment Office. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Simon .
