For the past 30 years, John F. Sheehan has been the voice of the Adirondack Council on radio and television and in local, regional, and national media. He helps the public and the media understand the unique nature of the Adirondack Park and the Council’s efforts to sustain its clean air, wilderness, wildlife, clean water, and vibrant communities.

He joined us to discuss the Adirondack Council's carbon offset opportunities and other current projects.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
