Albany, NY – For Wild Windy Bill McKay it all began in 1957 when he gave up playing bass fiddle in Roy Rogers' band to become the Marshal of Ghost Town at the Great Escape. The founder of the park, Charlie Wood, heard him and offered him a job. Wood predicted McKay would stay for a long time. He was right. At 86 years old, Wild Windy this month celebrated his 50th season at the park.
