Albany, NY – CHILDREN AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION - CLIMATE CHANGE -

There has been a great deal of publicity and controversy global wide about climate change. Indeed, the problem is universal.

It's hard enough for adults to separate what good science is from the scare mongering. Ever wonder how difficult it must be for children? Just look at what they are exposed to in the media and at school. What are children learning about climate change?

For some answers, we speak with several 8 and 9 year old students at the British School in Amsterdam. Then we seek analysis from Australian Psychologist, Dr. Susie Burke. And we also look at the marketing of climate change with Solitaire Townsend, co-founder of Futerra, a communications company specializing in sustainability issues.

Radio Netherlands Marnie Chesterton and Fiona Campbell contribute to this timely report.

Glenn Busby reports. (17:57)
