United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region

This year, United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region is offering a broader array of volunteer services to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy.

Despite an overall improvement in employment and gains in median household income, the economic recovery in New York state has been uneven. That’s according to a new report detailing how a large number of New York households cannot afford basic necessities.

United Way is continuing its supply drive for Newburgh residents following last week’s tornado. Tonight, a local taproom is donating all of its proceeds to United Way to help the city get back on its feet.
