More than 5 million Americans have lost their employer-sponsored health plans during the pandemic, and have not secured alternate health insurance. That’s according to a study by nonprofit consumer health care advocacy group Families USA.
Vermont health care regulators have approved rate increases for people covered by the state's online health benefit exchange known as Vermont Health Connect.
The two health insurance companies offering coverage through the Vermont state health exchange want to raise their rates for people and small businesses.
