Clearwater’s annual music festival is being scaled down this year. The Beacon, New York-based nonprofit suffered a financial loss from last year’s festival and wants to set itself afloat before sinking more money into another big production. WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne spoke with Clearwater’s executive director about the decision and what lies ahead.

The Great Hudson River Revival, known as the Clearwater Festival, is returning for its usual June weekend this year.
