With the holidays approaching and the pandemic showing no sign of mitigating, local providers say the hungry and the homeless will continue to be served.

There was a change in leadership this summer at Equinox, the Albany-based social services not-for-profit perhaps best known for its annual Thanksgiving Day dinner. John Henley is the new CEO of Equinox, taking over for Dorothy Cucinelli, who left to lead the Capital Region Collaborative, a group of mental health and substance abuse service providers.
