The president of Empire State College was in Plattsburgh today to sign separate partnership agreements with the local chamber of commerce and the community college.

A new agreement between two educational institutions in New York’s North Country should help expand opportunities for students seeking training in nursing and affiliated health fields.

Officials signed an agreement between Clinton Community College and Clarkson University this afternoon they say will enhance workforce training and education at the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing in Plattsburgh.

Local and state officials cut the ribbon this morning, officially opening the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing at Clinton Community College.

Students at Clinton Community College are organizing a March for Science this weekend, one of thousands occurring Saturday across the nation.

Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh hosted an Environmental Trade Fair Wednesday to show students how businesses impact the environment — and how they could offer potential clean and green jobs.

In September 2014, Clinton Community College received a $12.7 million grant through the SUNY 2020 challenge program to create and build the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing.  It broke ground on the facility in May 2016.  This week, the college updated officials on the status of construction and provided tours of the partially completed facility.
